Furnished with traditional elements such as tatami (straw mats) and paper lanterns, the main attraction of these boats is an evening of beautiful nightscapes and an au-thentic full-course Japanese meal made with seasonal ingredients.You might be surprised to find you can cruise on a yakatabune in Urayasu, the city famous for being home to the world-famous theme park we all know. What you may not know is that Urayasu was once a thriving fishing village, making it the perfect place to host a trip full of amazing cui-sine and scenery.A special event will also be held in October 2023. The event will feature an ohayashi instru-mental ensemble, a type of traditional Japanese music designated as an Uray-asu City Intangible Folk Cultural Property. An ensemble comprised of members of the Urayasu Ohayashi Preservation Society will play inside the yakatabune.
